At the time of writing the OCZ GameXStream 700W power supply can be found online for around $150USD. This is no doubt a lot for a power supply and for users that are running a conservative hardware setup this is probably overkill. However, with the great increase in popularity of dual video card systems more and more people may find that a serious power supply is exactly what they need. It should be noted in my own personal experience you can always find a cheap deal on a power supply that has a very high power rating but there are several huge benefits of buying a higher quality power supply right from the start. The first being that it's more efficient, it will use less electricity than a lower quality power supply unit. The second is that because it is using less electricity it will run a lot cooler and will in turn probably last much longer. The third reason is that having a higher quality power supply capable at delivering very high amounts of power means that it won't break a sweat when running a system that doesn't require a full 700W of power. Not to mention there is some upgrade flexibility to move to more power consuming components later on (like moving from a single video card solution to a SLI or CrossFire setup).

Overall the GameXStream is a great power supply. As previously recommended, if you aren't running a power intensive system then this power supply is probably too much for what you need. For enthusiasts, like gamers running high end video card setups, this power supply is worth a serious look.
