The panel of the 213T is more modern day than the 173P's single button panel with several buttons for quick control over features like auto adjustment, source selection (digital or analog), and brightness level. It also has a menu system from which you can adjust brightness, contrast, image, color control, on screen display qualities like horizontal/vertical position. All pretty basic stuff.
