I scream. You scream. We all scream for Doom 3. Ah yes, Doom 3. The game toting the name that made it a smash hit before anyone laid eyes on a single screen shot. John C. and company knew they had a gold mine on their hands with their next installation of the legendary Doom series, they just had to wait for the right time to jump on it. Once the first set of screen shots was released, Doom 3 had become one of the most hyped games of all time; rightly so. The character models in the photos glistened with ground breaking detail due to their beautiful textures and amazing bump-mapped surfaces. The monsters looked freakishly awesome and the character faces looked real. So it began, the hype grew and people frantically looked for more and more screen shots. Then comes E3. The id team slapped together a working version to demo at the popular game show for all to see; "Ooooo. Ahhhhhh." The stage was set for the game to be released.
